In the celebration of national Father’s day, Centre for Equality Advancement utilised social media tools to encourage active and caring parenthood. A viral campaign under the hashtag #SuTėčiu was stared in order to celebrate, as well as raise awareness about, the importance of present and engaging fatherhood.
Nine fathers were interviewed and the challenges and rewards of their experiences were shared on the centre’s social media accounts. In the meantime, the public was challenged to share memories of the most precious times spent with their own fathers, illuminating the value of a father’s presence in children’s lives.
